InterCard is one of the leading German network operators and service providers offering payments with debit cards, credit cards, and gift cards, in particular for customer-centred processes on top of off-the-shelf solutions, from risk management and payment settlement to receivables management. Popular food chains, textile retailers, as well as many other sectors rely on InterCard to process their card payments.

To strengthen our New Markets team we are currently looking for a

Senior Acquiring Specialist (m/f)

Your duties:

  • Internal and External development of InterCard’s acquiring value proposition
  • Drive international expansion of InterCard services
  • Relationship management with international Card Schemes
  • Pricing, commercial & product specific analysis of scheme requirements
  • Support of European sales / pre-sales activities for acquiring services
  • Develop market approach and product fit with international partners

Your profile:

  • Graduate level education / an MBA or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Expertise in merchant acquiring for point-of-sale and ecommerce with knowledge of pricing, compliance and other market requirements
  • Expertise in card scheme rules
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with an acquirer / PSP or equivalent financial institution
  • Knowledge of European country specific acquiring markets
  • Fluent in English and German, additional languages would be an advantage
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to travel when required
